Was wondering if anybody has repaired their old cracked dash to like new condition and if so, how hard is it to do? Would it be easier to just buy one of the plastic dash complete covers? Want it to look as much as the original as possible without paying an arm and a leg... If anybody anybody has pics for reference, that'd help too

I had a small crack in mine, and tried to repair . Used Plasti Weld epoxy, and it took care of the crack, but getting the grain was a pain. I tried one of those "grain" kits from autozone, but it just didn't look right. You could tell there was a repair, and this was just a small crack. If you have large cracks, I would suggest a full cover ( that's what I did). It looks good, and unless someone knows to look for a cap, they will not know it is there. You can also have the dash rebuilt ( big bucks-$1200+ at justdashes.com) .

That dash looks great, what vendor did you buy it from? My poor old SS has a horrible dash and needs some love!
