I bought an El Camino and need some paint/trim codes but there's no tag on the firewall near the wiper assembly. There is a sticker on the door near the latch that says built in Mexico, but it has faded and cracked.

Are there and paint/trim codes on the vehicle

Welcome aboard!

I believe the later Caminos were built in Mexico (someone correct me if I'm wrong) depending on what year you have there may be a Service Parts Identification (SPID) label in the glove box. It would have the RPO codes and paint codes.

thanks for the tip, but I did not see anything in glovebox. There is an official looking sticker on the door, along with some other stickers for tire size and pressure, but it is blank. maybe I can post a photo, but the odd sticker has no content - strange
