My GP originally came with the curved braces and the ones i got are the straight ones making them shorter. The mounting clips on the side of the fenders don't line up and in order to make them work i would have to drill a hole on my inner fenders. the ones from the cowl to the core support interfere with my air cleaner.. I will just keep a eye out for the original braces.

Thanx 85GPLef41, never notice that.

Grrrrr 😢
That Cutlass has the filler between rear trunk-lid and rear window and the chrom trim around the rear window i need for my 79 Cutlass Supreme.... You can be so happy , that you have the possibility to get those parts... If i could , i would take all i need from that car...
Little chrom trim for left front wing... Inner upper trim for front and rear window...both speaker covers...
But i am on the other side of the ocean...

I was at my local yard on Saturday also. I, too, got a perfect spare radio bezel. I also got firewall braces from a MC and F41 sway bars from a '79 Cutlass. When i got home and started doing some research, I came up with some conflicting info. Is the steering box on that Cutlass a likely a quick ratio? Or is that something that came along in later years only? Also, where would I locate the build sheet in my '79 Cutlass?

You REALLY should get that aluminum hood and find someway to get it home in one piece. If it is in good shape, you should get your $$ back and then some. Also, check around for the aluminum core supports. They will have a large stamped letter 'A' on the top. They bring huge $$. They fit all g bodies.

BTW....I hate you lucky bastards in Cali. 😢

Rust free parts....*sigh*
