1982 Regal. Never had problems before and now all of a sudden the delay wipers do not work. It just stays running in high speed no matter what setting I put it at.
any idea what is wrong?

Before I go any further, do you have the wiper switch on the turn signal stalk or the dash? Also, does your wiper motor have a white plastic thing on it with the washer fluid hoses coming out of it, or is the washer fluid pump in the bottom of the motor with the lines running to it? I will try to give you a reply tomorrow based on your answers to these questions. There are two different styles of G body wiper systems I am aware of, and I only have manuals with troubleshooting guides for one of them.

If you select a delay setting the wipers just stop wherever they are. Any idea if its a bad motor or switch? is there a delay box in these cars? it sounds like its inside the motor.
