i have a 1970 chev 3/4 ton van with a 350 /350 in it and i was changing the carb the other day and the cable broke up by the carb, so i took the cable out and tried to get a new one but they are all way to big mine is only 18 inches long, all the replacement parts are much bigger. no it is not genetics. the dealer says they are a different part no. from any others, can the end be welded or is it pot metal.? or what else will fit.
