My only problem is the rear wheels rub the frame. The tires are 245/45/16. Would a 1 inch spacer fix this or can I settle for a 1/4 inch spacer?

Those 3rd gen F bodies had different offset rims front and back. Try switching them around. You may still need a spacer, but most don't.

Ill try switching the rims and I'll let you know in my build thread. There will be a link to it here.

I think I used a 1" spacer/adapter for the rear irocs I use. Don't forget to get the vss and vss buffer out of the car. You will need it unless you get the vss deleted from the chips program.

I'm going to be picking up a parts car which is an 85 Iroc 305 Tpi and have that motor built to a 355 with the 350 heads etc... I will be using the wire harness, trans, motor, ecu and complete intake mani. Of course ported.

IF I understood you correctly your thought is to turn the 305 into a 355? If that is the case you can't use the 305 block b/c the bore is too small and it can't be bored out / honed to 4.030". They use the same stroke of 3.48" but the bores are puny on the 305; I think you can do the normal .030" bore/hone but that's about it. I may be wrong but I don't think you can swap 350 heads on a 305 as the chambers are too big and the valves will be shrouded too much. You can stroke it to I believe around 334 cu. in. or so.

The 305 and 350 TPI units themselves are the same since the TPI was designed on the flow characteristics of the 305, then basically just placed on the 350. The 350 TPIs only came with autos because the T5 was too weak to handle the torque.
