Differential cover assist?

The last 2 days I have been noticing a clunk,grind,bump or whatever you want to call it when i put the car in reverse. Then it runs fine. Noise is coming from rear. I have an 86 GP Brougham. Picked up a couple U-joints local, gonna get the car up on stands tomorrow. I am gonna check all mounting points of rearend and bushings, put in the new U-joints, drain the rearend and check gears. So question is-was gonna order from Summit-Gaskets, fluid and possibly a new inspection cover. When i went through the gasket list there are at least 7 different manufacturers-is anyone actually better than the other and the same with fluid. Recommendations?? Its been a good 15yrs since the last time I have done this, and back then you usually got what they had. Any help the subject is appreciated, thank-you.

i try to stick with fel pro gaskets. and oil i try to use castrol but when i went to the auto parts store they had a gallon of mag 1 gear oil on special for 6 bucks so i got that. on not to picky about gear oil.
