I ordered the wrong oil pan for my SBC 350 Crate engine BUT luckily... they block was made as a replacement and so it has the bump-out on both sides for the Oil tube. The dipstick that I WAS using on the drivers side is now too short because the passenger side does not have the built in tube running down the side of the block into the pan like the drivers side did. I am doing some research and it appears the passenger side option was also available. Where do I get a replacement tube and stick for the passenger side to make it work that is longer than the drivers side??

Go to your local auto parts store. Mr. Gasket sells the passenger side dipstick.

The Mr. Gasket one fits like garbage with headers. I think the only way to go is a stock one or bend the Mr. Crapsket one to fit right. I had tried to install one and had nothing but problems the A/C box was in the way

Ah yes, I could see the AC box getting in the way. I forgot about that since I don't have one. And I would also recommend a stock one or even a Lokar one if money isn't an issue.

Try one from a full size TBI-era truck. Is the hole actually there, or do you have to drill for it?

This reminds me, I'm going to need to get a 'stick for the 383 project :x

That looks awesome I wish I knew about the TBI oil tubes before i plugged it with a bolt and RTV. I'm going LS anyways so oh well.
