MALIBU Scam alert. The hell with mr Hill

This seems to be a BIG thing in the gbody scene ,theres a gang of pages on ig that list parts and MOST look shady . this guy on ig i contacted him about a dash he had , he wanted 350.00 shipped, sounded suspect so i told him i can send him payment via paypal. He said friends and family i said NOPE, ill pay the extra 3%. Of course the dash never came , he stopped communicating. I called paypal and my money was right back in my account. DONT EVER FRIENDS AND FAMILY, ZELLE,CASHAPP etc unless you know them and trust them.

There’s constant scammers in any of the FB G body I’m in. Always using the same pictures, and most will ask you to PM them rather than list prices.

I really miss the good old days of the regional mega swap meets where you spent the weekend trudging through all the aisles of parts laid out. If you were looking for something and spotted it, you made an offer if the price was negotiable but at least you had the items in front of you.

As much as the online scene has made it much more convenient to locate things, it's made it much easier for the D-Bags of the world to run all sorts of scams.

Such a shame people can't just spend the time they do on scamming and apply towards an honest living. I really hate scammers...😡

just so weird, feels like these guys actual job is to come on here and scam. I dont have time for almost anything much less to come on a forum and make a few accounts to switch back and fourth from to scam someone out of as few bucks. But it could be so simple. ONLY paypal goods and services. if they say (theres a fee) its like 3%, pay that too, no biggie. Peace of mind, paypal dont play that crap.

These scammers are everywhere! I was browsing craigslist which i havnt done in YEARS.. found a listing for some gbody buckets... sent a txt no resposnse..email him and he responds asap... make an offer and he accepts but requires $100 "to get this things ready and save me time" and through bitcoin to top of that. WTF. .. I tell him no thanks and good luck with sell and that i dont do cashapp either...well what do you know he can make an exception and do paypal..

That guy must've taken speech lessons from Squirrelly Dan, what with all those extra "s"s...

(Squirrelly Dan is a character played by comedian K. Trevor Wilson on the Canadian comedy Letterkenny.)
