I'm replacing the plugs, wires, rotor and cap on a '86 3.8. Does anyone know if the carbon brush in the cap is supposed to be able to move up and down ? The old one was torn up pretty bad so I couldn't really tell from that. The new one will not move. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks !
