Do I need a ring gear spacer

Its super hard to convey what you mean with text language. I envy the people that write service manuals. I would never be able to make it clean enough. Id probably say "tighten the bolt until tight" and not mention where or a torque spec.

My father who has set up numerous truck rearends is helping out so im not going blind. Hes never delt with a car rear with different carriers and stuff so thats why I asked.

I ordered a spacer today. Hope its here by Friday so I can get it put in. If not its going to have to wait until spring break when im off school and I really cant wait that long/
