I'd rather throw my parts in the garbage than give them to garbage.

we are our own worst enemy man! you cant blame a site, or count on a person's post count. Come on bruh! There are normally signs that will tell you what a person is about. and a post count isnt one of those signs. alot of times, we are all to eager to make a dollar and can throw caution to the wind.

i like the idea of a rating system, like over on other forums, cause that would make it easier to research a person's activity in selling and buying, but that still doesnt mean much. you have to ask the right questions, ask for the right proof, get guaranteed funding, simply put paypal (do not gift anything!) and stuff like that TO PROTECT YOURSELF. if the tire blows on your car, you cant just blame the manufacturer and expect them to have protected you from that, you gotta inspect and maintenance your own car...

the scammers of this world usually get what they deserve in the end! and if not, you just keep living your life and dont let something like this consume too much of your existence. that dude is going on about his, accept the loss and move forward bro! the quicker the better! trust me ive lost alot of money dealing with people, helping people, trusting people, etc. and because of how I am, i normally make it out and succeed at what i am trying to do. the hardest part is to let go and move forward, but you owe that to you and your family... good luck bro!

either that or have members have to be a donating members to post classifieds. i have seen it done before to keep the forums from becoming craigslist. it could also generate some revenue for the site. 🙂

I've done that a few times with no problem. I guess I'm lucky but I have seen them posting and they seem alright. I never sent anything I can't afford to miss and I won't loose any sleep over it. I want to make sure they get it before the send the money so if they don't get it after they sent the money I don't want to be looked at as a scammer. I don't use paypal to get nickle and dimed to death. On the other side of the coin I haver bought stuff and I send the money up front and no problems with that either...

thankfully there are more honest people in this world than dishonest so I don't mind taking a chance....

Say what you want about PayPal...but its a heck of a lot easier than HOPING somebody pays me...

You guys are all ignorent... guy paid me just like any ligit PayPal trsnsaction and then he used PayPal to rip me off and take me for $81.
You guys think that PayPal offers seller protection, well it doesnt and it relighs on the buyer being morally responsible.
I got Fvcked by a noob, cry all you guys want about your happy site and your hunny bunnies but I live in the real ****ing world.
I am out $81 by a scammer.
End of ****ing story!!!!!!
I am now seeking legal action...
Next poster to this thread should keep their $0.02 worthless cents to themselves unless they have $81 for me.

Seriously I would never send parts to someone on this site without payment first.
However I have done so on other sites and lists with established members and people that have taken the time to become a well known asset in their community as I have.
Im not old at all, buy have engaged with those that have become serious...

We are all ignorant? Wow....Pretty harsh coming from somebody who thought it was necessary to air their dirty laundry and post up a rant about getting ripped off and then has the nerve to tell us to keep it to ourselves....

Did I call you names? NO! I simply stated what I thought about your post and how it "appeared" that you shipped without payment first. I have bought and sold sh*t all over the internet for years...never got burned..... Guess im just lucky that way cause god knows I aints gots no brains.... Sorry this got so off track...hope ya get your money back. Take the "no offense" and shove it since you cant seem to understand the concept.
