Do these ETs make sense?

Actually you only gained 2/10 as droping every 100lb should get you 1/10 alone.

Are you manually shifting it or just putting your foot down? When I swapped to 3.73s in my el camino with the stock governor the shift points were way too soon.

Manually with the stock floor shifter. Almost had my first win but I had a little shifting mishap and somehow ended up back in 2nd. 😳 Oh well. Maybe next time. 3rd time's a charm!

Just curious; what is your total timing at? Where are you shifting at? Explain your exhaust setup in more detail as I'm not quite sure what you mean.

Timing: It's been a couple years since I set it. I don't have a clue off-hand. It's a Summit brand vacuum distributor. That's all I remember.
Shifting: I'm shifting at 4500rpm. For some reason I seem to have slightly better results there than at 4000rpm. :?:
Exhaust: Starting with the stock manifolds, the driver's side wraps under the oil pan, comes up at an angle towards the firewall like this / picking up the passenger side manifold, then goes back down \, and it comes to a flange pretty much parallel with the ground _. The rest is fabricated. At that flange I have a short adapter (bolted solidly on) that converts the pipe to 3 inches in diameter. That goes into a "down pipe" which ends up in a dump/cut-out. After that is a band clamp holding on a 3inch Thrush chambered muffler. That goes into a short transition piece which goes into a 3 inch oval pipe with a 45 degree bend.
