There is a lot of info on ls1tech .com including a g-body thread in conversion section.Maniflods have been used, f-body pan would need crossmember notchung & reboxing, asI did on mine OR new musclecar pan & notches for stock ac location or relocating.

Thanks, great pictures, gonna do the cut out and reweld on the frame. Gotta box the open sections anyway so while I have the welder warmed up...
 
As you can see by the rust, I did mine a good while back before swap kits were common.Some people are scared to cut & rebox a frame, Guess we're not. Posted my motor mount pic. What I did was take the v-8 g-body engine cradle & trimmed the f-body rubbermount to fit in, then redrilled frame .Course now you have lots of swap plates. For my crossmember I made a bracket for each side of the frame to move the crossmember back 1 hole, then redrilled for trans mount.
Looks like the LS6 manifold you got there, You need to research the #'s on the block& heads to find out about them.

Do you have the book that lists head and block #s? If I pm them to you can you let me know what I have? Got finished stripping my donor car, and loaded it on the trailer for its last ride to the recycler. Started notching and boxing my frame, glad to be back working on the car I am going to keep, rather than scrap.
