My buddy threw me a set of electric fans off his '01 jetta parts car he got, thought i could put them to use sooner or later. Had my intrepid fans out to clean them up and cut the mounting tabs off the side so i figured id see how the vw fans fit in there. Holy hell its like they are meant to be!!! There is a clearance issue to the power steering for me, but could be easily solved by trimming the shroud. So all you guys wanting to go electric, keep an eye on the vw's

Dont know how much air these move, but i believe his 1.8t runs pretty hot, so the fans should pull quite a bit.

If anyone wants these fans id consider selling them.

I have electric fans from a dodge caravan in mine, they clear everything and work great keeping my 461 BBO cool 😀

the bunggeez are in the one photo while I made some mounting tabs(no... thats not what holds them in!)
