hey my regal has something none of my other G's ever had, like a little square that says "concert sound II" or something like that and was wondering does it mean it has door speakers? no noise comes out but maybe there is none in there/not connected and was wondering before i rim the panel off i should ask cause i always manage to break some clips

another question is how can i get some 6x9s or any speaker to fit in the back i want them to be like showing the top face of the speaker with the rest hanging thro a hole you know what im saying? prolly not, hard to explain

last owner had them in the stock spot but hanging with like a steel hanger real ghetto so now i got some 6x9s just sittin on my back dash but there too big to make a hole and sit them in there like i want

Yes, you have door speakers, 4" I think they are. Not sure if there's actual speakers in there, but worth checkin out, it's a factory option.

For my 6x9s I had some 6x9 enclosures hangin around, I took just the part that the speaker sits in, screwed it in the trunk over the holes with some 3/16" self-tappers, then screwed my speakers into them, been like that for 2 years no problems.

I think you mean you wanna put them in from inside your car, so they're sitting on top of the rear deck? Never seen that one done, but there's gotta be a way

Use a 4x10 to 6x9 adapter and just mount them in the stock location. The adapters come with a wire rod type clip that fits around the 6x9 speaker and clips into the stock speaker bracket locations.

You'll get more sound and it'll look nice and clean unlike hacking up the rear package tray to show off a set of speakers would. 😉

the rear deck has holes i guess previous owner wanted to hear the sound better? i dont know but there half dollar sise holes on each side

i want it like this lincoln town car rear dash, no tens obviously wont fit
3 of them lined up across the back

In my brother's '81 I made his box so that it was notched out to clear the speaker. In my '87 the only issue was a small interference between the trunk support rods and speaker magnet. Wasn't an issue on my brother's car since it uses struts for the trunk lid support.

just an fyi the speakers in the doors are 5.25"
