need one...
have a 700r4 mounted on the stock x-member, that was modified. Shortended driveshaft.

what have you guys used?
I prefer not to get a new x-member, just need something that works with my current setup.

I saw a "Monte Carlo SS" one on summit. Will that work with my 700r4? I've also seen a "univeral" one, anyone have experience with this? Where would these bolt up?

thanks!

Check Out Fastmonte.com. They have what you need. You will need the loop with the 3" setback.....I am in the process of getting one for myself as I just went with the 700-r4. These will be bilted in the stock bolt hole locations, so no mods will be needed 😀 ! BTW, How do you like the O/D??

O/D is awesome...
car was made for being a street/strip car, and cruises at 2000rpm at 62mph with 3.42 gears.

But sometimes I do wish I had 3.73s for that better trap speed at the track.

I have 4:10 in my baby.............the stall isn't as high, 2G, as I would like...BUt with the deep gears, I think I will be OK...

And first gear will be over with really quickly!

thanks for the info guys, probably gonna go with the FastMonte.com one.

Warren, those are some sweet cutouts, and X-pipe

Khano165-I got my loop today from James Happe AKA FAstMOnte.Com. Great quality and great price as well. FYI 😀
