I'm a nice guy. I like being nice and polite to other people. I believe in showing courtesy and all but some people are doing it incorrectly while driving. What I mean is, if you're behind someone on a main road and they want to make a left turn, they let the person on the side street turn out onto the main road before making their turn. Legally, the person on the side street has to yield right of way to the person on the main road. What bothers me about this is people on side streets more and more seem to believe it's their right to turn out in front of you as you're approaching the street you're turning onto. I'm also noticing people on side streets waiting to turn out giving me dirty looks like I'm some kind of ******* for not letting them out.

I don't know if this is just a local thing but I'm seeing more and more people driving as if they don't know the laws or just don't give a sh*t about them. I'm all for being nice to each other whenever possible but in this case I think following the rules and laws of the road is a necessity. It's really bothering me because I've nearly been hit a few times because of this and I don't want my premiums going up because someone is ignorant of the law or is simply ignoring it. It also bothers me when people try to let me out, I'm suppose to wait and I'm ok with that, I appreciate the gesture but it's teaching other drivers the wrong way to drive.

It's been like that here in NJ for quite some time. People will pull out from side streets and side roads right in front of you. Even if you are turning, just going straight, people will pull right in front of you from out from the side and often without signals.
