Drop spindle and steering help

i got a set of 2 inch drop spindles for my car, i was told i need a gear box or somthing from an s10 to go with that, i also would like to put a rack in my car. any and al input will be greatly appeachiated, thanks

I used s10 2" drop spindles on my SS and used the original steering box. Just had to adjust my tie rod ends for proper alignment.

Same here used S-10 spindles and eibach lowering springs and barley needed an alignment. Kept all factory suspension and gear box.

Gear box has nothing to do with the spindles. Im using 2" drop spindles and a stock SS steering box with no issues.
