Hi,

i want to lower my GP she´s rollin on 20" Irocs, 232/30 in the front. so i want to install my 1" Eibach Pro Kit and 2" Drop spindles got anyone expierence with 20s and lowering on a GBody?

i saw some S-10/Blazer drop spindles and they was cheaper than "Gbody drop spindles", so my question is: will S10 spindles work on my 85 GP(i heard about it)?
Thanks...Robert 😀

If you do that with those gigantic wheels, the car won't want to move, You will probably lock the wheels to the tops of the wheelwells. Even if you don't, the car will rub constantly. I have 26 in tall tires on mine that are wider than stock, and I had to cut the car and roll the lips to fit them with no rubbing. (I run 245 50 16's on 16x8 in wheels) 20's are really too big for a G body.

245/50/16s were showing up as 25.7 & 25.6 tall. I run a 235/60/15 which is 26.1 tall with a the Eibach pro kit and do get some rub when I cross crowned streets a bit too fast. 235/30/20 showed up as 25.6 tall so he should be able to fit them both height & width wise. That said he will find the Eibachs harsh especially with no tire sidewall. It will be eazy to buggar a rim and their will be no straight line traction if he has anything with decent power and gear. Naturally if you don't care about acceleration traction or ride and its all about the look you are then good to go. No slam just a heads up.

The spindles are the same. I have the same 2" drop spindles in my S-10 as I have in my Monte. S-10 lower coils will work as well(of course take into account your engine weight, obviously a 1" drop coil for an S-10 will be more like 2" in your small block G-body). The S-10 lowering parts are much more affordable, thumb through a MiniTruckin' mag to find some of the cheapest .com sites for that stuff.
