hey everyone finally dropped in my olds 350 hopefully gonna get it running this weekend here are some pics

went with the iceman crossmember which bolted right in along with tthe frame extension which i have to move some brake lines a little to fit but it was well worth saving the extra 100+ on the gforce crossmember

i have one question, i wired all the harness that goes in the firewall underneath the wiper motor. i have it all plugged into the starter and everything i forgot to attach the 12v to the distributor but i figured i would be able to at least get some crank from the engine with the starter hooked up. the computer is not hooked up at all and i dont know if it may have something to do with the neutral safety switch? the lights were nice and bright so i kinda figured there was enough juice there haven't played with it too much but i do know i replaced the solenoid and when i tightened the battery cable to the solenoid, the whole stud started spinning, i figured it might be ok still but not sure any help would be coll thanks

it'll crank but it wont fire with out the 12v hooked up. Thats what sends the voltage to the distributor to fire that bad boy up!

ya im looking just to get a crank im not ready to fire it up anyways

Damn those Olds engines look good that color. I kinda want an Olds gbody just so I can put a gold Olds 350 in it.

fixed the cranking problem. the starter solenoid was cracked, replaced and was cranking strong so that is good news also finished plumbing the gas lines i used the old charcoal cannister line as a fuel return
