I snapped one of the bolts/anchor pins that the brake shoes pivot on at the top of the backing plate. Does anyone have a part number for this item or even a correct name?

For an 8.5in rear btw.

It is called an Anchor Pin and I got new ones for my car with the new backing plates. I just did a quick search and Rockauto didn't have them, but they gotta be out there. I'm sure Dorman makes them.

Tried them no luck... Their backing plates dont even say anything about having them.

Yep seems like the only difference is mine has only 2 flat sides to hold with an open ended wrench rather then a box.

You know after a search, there are NONE available unless you have an old Vette'. I guess they never wear out?!?
