Im doing a true dual exhaust set up on my 86 cutlass.

Im getting the iceman trans crossmemeber and dumping the mufflers before the rear end.

Im thinking either Hooker Max Flow Mufflers or Aerochambers or any other suggestions? Im really leaning towards the max flow.

I want loud idle and throttle but i dont want an ugly popping sound like a cherry bomb.

Also what mufflers do i order such as the length and the muffler dia. and offset and all that stuff.

what motor do you have in it? Have you figured out what size pipes your going to use?

Yeah, I'd go 2.25, maybe 2.5. As far as length and offset, I think mine was offset in center out

length doesn't matter too terrible much

For a stock motor, I'd go with 2.25".

Like the picture shows, you want an offset inlet, and a center outlet.

I have Hooker Aero Chambers on my Caprice and they sound great.

i am a big fan of Dynomax Ultra Flo's. they sound killer on my big block and flow better then nearly every other muffler i've heard of.

i do think they should put a warning on them
"Caution use of these mufflers may cause deafness!"

if you plan on puting another motor in might aswell go with 2.5 or 3 inch and i like the sound of the borla xr-1 racing muffler

you also didnt mention if you still have to pass emissions in your area, if so your going to need the cats, which will have a big impact on the sound your looking for

im in fl...no emissions. ive already took all the smog stuff off and i have no cats. Im looking for it to be pretty loud. im still thinking aerochamber or max flow i heard max flow is loud but almost stock like at idle which id like the idle to be loud too.

If i go 2.5 in on my stock 307 will the sound be noticebly louder than if i stuck with the 2.25? Is there any other mods i would havbe to other than all new pipes?
