even if it is a clone, its still worth it, that thing is in immaculant shape imo

Its a vin9, and has most if not all the correct parts. I would say yes, it is a real one. Were things added to it or changed that arent original? Most likely yes.

Looks a little rough to me. The paint is faded on the top surfaces, and the interior needs some help. Is it worth $6k? I dunno. A good one can go for over $10k, but that thing will take some work to get there.

It's probably AS ADVERTISED, but I wouldn't drop that much money on it.

I would if I had the money.

the door ding strips were not offered on a 83 hurst..........and the trunk spoiler is missing the end wing tips, but it looks real.

I think a t top car would be better. my friend has one of these. awsome cars

peace

The listing as an '83 442 is incorrect.
It is however, a genuine '83 H/O, which the vin confirms.
Too bad '83's don't have 8.5's...

Door ding strips were available on any model, any year, and if the car was not so equiped from the factory, they were easy for the dealer to install.

I'd rather have an '84.

Cars always look better in pics than in person. I agree I think this one might be a little "rough" I think it's been repainted before and new decals put on. Or else there is rust starting to bubble under the paint. Check out the pic by the rear wheel. The red part of the stripe looks wrinkled or bubbling rust. Also look at the tailpipe and rear brake drum. I am always leary of people who like the spray chrome that much.

OOhhh! Look how much below low retail it is! Yeah, except it will take $7500 to get it there. People don't get it...collector car "book" values reflect cars that need nothing major. This car needs almost everything to be "collector value", and then it's a restored example.
