CUTLASS LEAD: Ebay 83 Hurst Olds Carburetor *claimed* 800 Mile Take Off

Here's a question what year did they go to torx screws
AFAIK, 1984-up has the torx.

Up through 1983, they had flat blade screw heads. Sometime in 1983 they may have swapped to the torx. But best as I can remember it was AROUND that time frame they did the change. It's possible some later 83 carbs had torx screws. But I'm not 100% sure on that.

Guy is awful proud of his stuff... $140 to ship a $250 NOS AC hose that you can still get NOS for $125... 😆

Even a quick check on ebay can net you one for about what he charges for shipping. But if you can get a discount price from the dealership...just keep in mind it fits 307 up through 84. 85-up takes a different hose assembly.

For 85-88, 4 seasons has some. Amazon has them for $91.88 plus tax.
