I feel that way too every once in a while, but sometimes Ecrap is the only and/or most convenient way to get parts. fact is - they have the largest marketplace. i understand your frustration.
most recently, i had ordered a stainless braided dipstick tube for my 87 V10 with a 700r4. End of tube too small, didnt fit the transmission. their solution was for me to pay for it to be returned.... i understand if i ordered the wrong part, but i didnt --- they sent the wrong part. after you open a case they remove your ability to provide feedback, and take away any feedback you have already left... so if you think it won't go your way and want the negative feedback to stick, don't open a case.
somewhere between 1 and 2 percent of my orders go this way, but all the rest turn out OK...

You have a V10 in front of a 700R4, you are a brave man😏. I bought a washer bottle for my Daughter's Tercel. First one got lost in shipment. EBay refunded my money, even the shipping as I filed just with a month. I had to wait like 2 days for the 30 days. Ordered another one through another company for a similar $50 price and received it. I have spent $800 in the last month on a nearly 400,000 km Toyota Tercel. Windshield, Daughter's stupidity, hit a Moose sneaking out 3 hours away. Also Winter tires, new washer bottle due to 2 big cracks and new outer CV boots. Little b*st*rd better last forever. My girls better only put Winter washer fluid in, filling it and sending an extra jug. I will them all to only put winter washer fluid in! That is my rant, Ebay has treated me well over the years. I plan on finding another Fireturd license plate bracket, probably from Ebay for my 70S, it is even more ignorant to fuel than the 88 was, which I now love to fill up compared to how it was.
I also have been frustrated by ebay but on the most part I cannot complain. I do more now on Amazon as I have an Amazon card. I got it after Bass Pro bought Cabelas. I loved Cabelas until that. I hate Bass Pro
Thats a first for them to side with a seller (per my experiance as a seller.) They don't care really as much for buyers or sellers as they claim. As xylorex they are the only source or they have someone that has an unbeatable price but when it comes to my overall experiance with customer service sucks.
They are heavily biased towards buyers and screw the sellers. I had multiple non paying winning bidders on a car I was selling. I was not permitted to leave negative feedback for them. This sucks for other people as you don't have any way of knowing that they are dead beats.
I also had an issue with a seller shipping the item to the wrong address. About a month in I requested a refund to which I got no response. I had to get Ebay involved. I eventually got my money back but was not allowed to leave negative or even neutral feed back.
Don't get me started on their fees....

Good to know, I was hoping Cabela's would become more fishing oriented. Bloody place was/is 90% overpriced clothes, no wonder they tanked.
i'm sorry i should have been more clear, its a 1987 GMC V10 --- which is a 1/2 ton 4-wheel wheel drive truck... the transmission is a custom built ST+ by Phoenix Transmission rated for 550HP, i believe the weakest link is my factory rear axle haha.
Take a deep breath and relax. They are the only game in town sadly enough. You’re just hurting yourself because they couldn’t care less.
