I have always had wheel hop issues with gbodys. So on my current car I wanted to get rid of it. So I had Edelbrock box lowers, double adjustable uppers, trailing arm braces and the anti-hop bars installed. I can't say if it was one piece or the whole combo, but I have absolutely no more wheel hop.
Now I know Edelbrock is way overpriced, but the parts stores in my area seem to know absolutely nothing about non engine stuff, and that was all they could order for me.
If you don't want to spent the cash, there are a lot of other brands of trailing arms that are cheaper in price, but the same and better. Or you could just box your lowers add new bushings (pole on the rear side, rubber on the frame side), add new bushings to the uppers (same set up as the lowers), and I would also recommend some new shocks. Also if you don't have one, put a rear sway bar on it.

yea ive seen the trailing arms from summit and jegs ill prolly get a pair of adj. uppers and just box my lowers. should i leave the air shocks? or just replaced them with some normal shocks?. and should i just get a stock swap bar for the back like off a monte or cutlass since elkys didnt ever have them from the factory
Yeah a rear sway from any gbody will work. I got mine from a Cutlass. But if you're gonna box your lowers, keep this in mind. When you get your sway bar from a donor car, get the little braces that the bolts go through (inside the trailing arm) and tac them in place in your arms before you box them.
ok now if i replace the airshocks with normal shocks will the car squat much with normal shocks? i run a set of 28x11.50s and dont want them touching when i launch the car. and whats a good brand for shocks i have monroes up front. what would be good for the rear??
i got a sway bar for the elky. installed it and it didnt seem to make much difference with the wheel hop so next will be shocks. then im gonna box the lower control arms and replace the bushings
