Electric fans are $34 at the pick-n-pull so I picked one up to play with and make a high-low circuit. I figured I could just plug the circuit into a $90 fan, if the $35 one failed and I wouldn't be cutting up and experimenting on an $90 fan.

The intrepid/Concorde/LHS/Eagle whatever fans in the junkyard all seemed to have a long motor on one side. The Chrysler 300M has short motors on both sides. The fan is the same size, just the long motor on one size is the difference. All of the aftermarket fan's motors have two short motor fans, but if you get one from a junkyard, look for a 300M.

The two Relays on a junkyard 300M fan are actually waterproof DPDT (5 wire relays) They only have 4 wires on them, but its easy to add another wire. Its like a no extra charge bonus.

I'll have to look around at work and see what I can find.

What year Intrepid fans do you guys use? I have a set from a '98-'02 Camaro but I would like to compare them to the Intrepid fans and see which ones would be easier to make fit.

I have 2003 intrepid fans and they fit a griffin 31x19 radiator perfect.
