guys, what are the thoughts? I'll be installing a new fuel tank as well.. I have an electric on my chevelle w a 502, that's nice but also has had its own issues... Thanks, just getting ready for when motor goes in

I prefer electric pumps just make sure whatever you get is designed for continuous duty if it is a street car.

one advantage of electric pumps is lets you move the engine back.

Ok, thanks.... Now, inline pump or do they make the new gas tanks for these gbody's with in-tank pumps?

Guys, regarding an electric fuel pump- does someone make a gas tank with a submersed pump in the tank or do I have to buy one for outside the tank? Also, I then need to buy a regulator and place that up close to the carb? Any info/advice on how and who to use would be great, thanks... Need to start ordering parts.

The grand nationals and 4.3 efi montes came with intank fuel pumps. I believe you would have to use the tank and parts from those cars because the baffling in the efi tanks.

This would be the easiest I would say for intank since you can get the parts easily from an auto parts store. Rockauto.com has everything too.

Thanks... Not sure that tank would be right since I'm going to be running a carb? If so, what electric pumps mounted on frame by tank do you guys run/recommend? I'll have a 450hp, 383 motor if that is needed to be known. Thanks!

I've been using mechanical fuel pumps for 15 years on mine and they seem to work fine.

Thanks guy, I'd like to keep this simple as possible. Was just wondering if 400+ hp could still use mechanical.
