electrical issues

[1984 Regal 327]

im having a problem with my 84 regal, i pulled it out of storage and now my tachs not working and my voltage light wont go off, everything worked fine when i put it away, i had another alternator laying around so i swapped it and still no change, any help would be greatly appreciated

check your powers and grounds. look were wires that go through gromets and stuff to look for chafing. if you had it in storage maybe look for were a mouse could have chewed on the wiring.
