can anyone give advise? i put a chevy 350 in a 85 cutlass supreme and got it to run but then i wired up my electric choke to a switched green wire i thought the original choke ran off. after running for a few minutes the power cut off to my ignition switch and half of the fuse box. i checked the fuseable links on the fat red wires coming off the starter and there is still power after the links and all the way upto the firewall. im not sure where they go to under the dash but it looks like one of them going to the ignition switch but it has no power there. so i suspect maybe there is another fuseable link or something under the dash that caused it to lose power. my buddy thinks that the half of the fuse box that lost power must get its power from the ignition switch and that if i run a power wire to the fat red one going to the switch it will probably power up the half of the fuse box again. anyone have a clue? can you look at wiring diagrams on this site?
