is it possible/worth it? i was thinking about it but i have no way of getting it done or the funds. i think it would be pritty cool but how bad would it let the frame or body warp if i wanna stomp on it? just a thought...

It's one of those "it all depends" kind of questions. First off, it is not the easiest thing to add to a car that was never offered with them to start with. Second, warpage and twisting depend on what kind of power you are making. These cars can take a bit more than a typical unibody car like a Camaro or Mustang, but they are not indestructible either. If you are making 400+hp with slicks, you run a chance of hurting things without reinforcement to the frame if you take stiffness out of the body structure. The frame does most of the work, but the body does add a certain amount of rigidity to the frame.

i have been talking about doing this for years, i actualy talked to my frame guy and he said he could do it if i brought him a t top from a g body car. while you are at it why not the the grand national front end on it?? thats would be sick! grand camino with t tops.......

I can be done but i wouldn't mess with it i have yet to see a t top car that didn't leak or have rust around the t tops.

i think it would be an awesome idea. and the grand national front end would look amazing on there too. but if you want to do it. i would pursue it
