Hey everyone. I'm in the process of 231T for a SBC. I plan on racing the car so I went ahead and removed anything I wont be needing (heat/AC, power steering, etc) I also removed the factory wheelhouses because IMO I hate the molded plastic and with nothing bolted onto them they dont really look that great. I also don't want to drive without them as I dont want road debris going into my engine bay.

My question is, does anybody know where I can get some smooth ones? I found some for a Monte Carlo but I don't want to waste my money if they wont fit... Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I was just curious now that the wheelhouses are out where are you gonna mount your fuel pressure regulator.

I have mine mounted on the intake in front of the carb to let g-force do its job but I still would not give up my wheelwells since I have other things mounted to them plus I don't want all the dirt, stones, water, etc. getting kicked up all over my engine.

I dont want to give up my wheelwells I just simply dont like the generic molded plastic gbody ones. I am looking for a source that possibly sells smooth plastic or metal ones and am asking if anyone could help me out. Sorry if I was unclear in the OP.

I am planning on cutting my to make it smooth and filling the holes (from cutting mounting points off) with fiberglass resin

Have you thought about installing some wheel wells fabricated from aluminum

Until looking at the picture of your wheelwells I didn't realize how different they are from my Monte and you are right the Monte style is definitely smoother and cleaner looking.
How much can you get those Monte wheelwells for? I have to imagine the fit is relative close since the Regal and Monte both have the round wheelwells unlike the Cutlass, but you might have to drill a few new holes.

I found some online but I cannot find the link anoymore  If I recall correctly they were around $160 per side. I dont really want to spend that much on them if they aren't going to work. I wish somebody would shed some light on this as I am probably not the only person who has had this issue before.
