You live in Germany and you are thinking about having an engine built in Oregon?

A 400hp 383 stroker motor is a simple build for a shop. Just check around with local shops and if you feel like you have to go somewhere else just check with locals that know the shop. Make sure it has a warranty (atleast a year)

What is WANDET?

Theres no engine builders in germany?

I'm pretty sure "WANDET" is Wanted

"WANDET" - WANTED wow I really didn't see that at all, was that on purpose? :blam:

Aren't there Ferrari's, Mercedes and BMW's made in Europe? I would think they would have some of the greatest engine builders available over there!

^^ Thats what I thought. German Engineering is obviously very advances, so I could see there being a lot of precision engine shops "around"

Sorry guys english isnt my mother tongue :blam: ...

The problem here in europe is, that we have a lot of engine builders the have experience with mercedes or bmw motors but we got just a hand full of "us engine" builders here and they very (very) expensive...so what you think about the shop from ebay?

thanks

Got ya, sorry if that comment sounded rude.

Well, if you go with a US engine builder you will be looking at spending a lot for shipping. Not sure how expensive they are over there but it could possibly even out after you have an engine shipped overseas, just something to think about. There are a lot of good engine builders on eBay, just be sure to check their reputation by checking with customer feedback. I know there is a good shop in Arizona that is big on eBay
