hi need to find out what engine code 23 and 42 are 1986 442.thanks for help.

Code 23; MC solenoid open or grounded
Code 42; Electronic Spark Timing open or grounded

thanks for info.i looked at your reply and seen your 442 ran 15 sec is that stock or 350,if 307 what did you do to engine thanks again for info.

The 15.54 run was just the bone stock 307 with a better exhaust system ( but still with stock manifolds ), and some emissions removal. With the 350, I can't get any traction so my best run was only 14.5. I now have headers and an RPM intake, so with traction it should run high 13's.
