Hey guys Im new to the forum and would just like to say thank you already. I have found many useful pieces of information for my current project. The project is 53 chevy pickup that has an 83 (I believe) Cutlass front end grafted onto the stock frame. The truck had a buick V6 and we are looking to swap in a 350 sbc. I have found the correct frame side mounts by looking through different threads and my frame looks identical to the ones pictured in the same threads. All seemed well but when we went to drop the engine in, the engine side brackets are approximately half an inch too wide "bolt eye to bolt eye" when compared to the frame side mounts. I have been told that there are different engine side brackets and also heard that gm part number 10213125 may be the answer. Problem being that they are quite expensive front the dealer and I have no idea where to look in the junkyard for them. Thanks in advance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
