Its a 355 tpi I bought the trans am for 1000 bucks just for the engine and I traded some stuff to a friend for the 5spd setup which he said it was from a 92 rs camaro and he said it was the world class t5

Ah that makes sense, it threw me off at first cause I knew they didn't put the t5 behind the 350's. Pics look good! Love the banner on the windshield.

It looks pretty good so far. I have the book on GM TPI and TBI engine swapping by Mike Knell here, and in it, he claims that the Firebird TPI air cleaner assembly is a direct bolt-in on a G body. Did you get the whole Firebird as a parts car? Just wondering. A couple of other questions. I noticed in the photos that the A.I.R. pump is installed on the engine, but it doesn't look like its connected-am I correct? If you don't need it, I believe that you could remove it and substitute a shorter serpenrine belt. Another thing that I'm curious about-what type of clutch setup did you use, mechanical or hydraulic? Keep up the good work, and post up some more pics as you get things finished up, thanks.

Yea I had the whole car but I scraped it after I got everything I needed and I just like the way the k&n filter looks on there and yes the smog pump is on there and it isn't hook up I might later buy the delete kit and the clutch is hydraulic and thanks

It's ok and how's your car doing?

Running good. Took it for a run and smoked the tires a few times yesterday. Love the upgrade. Much more power and fun than the 307. 😀

Hit me if you have anymore questions and keep up the good work.

Can't wait.
