I was wondering if those clamshell style brackets bolted to the block on a 350 will match up to a 81 el camino that was a original chevy 305 car. I am wanting to put a 350 with these kind of brackets on it, and i dont know if i need to change frame mounts in my 81 elky that was a factory 305 please help

If I'm not mistaken all v-8 chevy motor mounts are the same.

some chevys v8s have those rubber motor mounts but i want to use the clamshell style in my el camino

they will work fine. the thing that wont work is the truck style clam shells, found that out the hard way!

What is the part number for the clamshell mounts? And where can you get them. I all ready have the frame mounts, and I am searching for the correct clam shells. (doing a V6 to V8 Swap)
