Exhaust Leak

I didn't use any gaskets when I redid my heads. Just used a thin smear of copper RTV. That's what an engine rebuilder told me to do and I have been happy so far.
 
How exactly did you use the copper RTV? Ive heard of people doing that but no clue as how to apply.

I just got home and checked the one I had ordered the first time from Rock Auto and it is the same one. I just measured the inside diameter and it is 2.5 not 2.1 I wonder if they just sent me the wrong one. I bought another from Autozone because I didnt want to go home and pick up the one i already had. My buddies house is close to work.. either way both are 2.5 ..Im going to try the copper rtv or my buddy was saying something about gasket material I think he wanted to rig up his own gasket,
