I agree true duals. I personally like glass packs. I went with jones glass packs from summit.

Does it need replacing? My old muffler just rusted out , everything else was fine, so I just replaced the muffler. Tried a super 40 first but it was too loud, more show than go in my case, the super 50 just Burbled nicely, like a 1960s V8.
I like those super 50's got a nice low burble to them. 8) http://youtu.be/B6rFQHK5qEs

Don't know if there is a true dual kit for your car but I would suggest saving your money, researching the type of muffler(s) you want and working with a reputable, local muffler shop that will bend the pipe to your application. I installed one of those manifold back kits on my truck and was furious after the pipes rotted out after only a year of use.

I know I suggested the Pypes kit in an earlier post, what I did not mentioned but should have, is the friend that installed it on his Cutlass went to great pains to get it all to line up correctly and ended up welding the whole thing together and making his own hangers. More work than he thought he was paying for.

thanks for all the info but i think i will wait because i want to put a bugger engine in it in a year or two so there is no point, i will just get a setup on whatever i put in. in the mean time the big rust hole in my muffler makes it sound pretty mean
