Well, I was lookin over the craigslist for an old pickup to haul stuff with and ran across a 79 El Camino for cheap. Good or bad I adopted the G-Body as my own. Hard to pass up a running driving camino with working A/C and cruise for $400. Let the chaos begin.

that was a great deal.how is the body on it?any rust.

body is fair for the most part, has some cancer starting around the rear side markers and has been hit on the passenger side. pass side door jamb is mangled and rear of door is too. rear frame from axle back is rotted nearly off. Not looking to do a restore but a rear frame section and some bondo and it may look respectable. I lowballed the guy and he took my offer. the car only has 103000 original miles with documentation to prove it.

oh and it came with the topper
