What’s left is thin metal covered in about 1/4” of bondo so does that mean that the original just rotted away so much that whoever “repaired it” put that much, I want to know what the original looks like so I can know if I need to weld in something new or just cover it?Bondo absorbs moisture like a sponge and rots metal faster.
