Got this 1981 El Camino in 09 after I sold my 82 Camaro.I love Camaros.But this Elco got me sold on g-bodys.I aint finished with this one and already found a nother 81 elco with a 6cyl and factory 3speed manual,but thats for a nother topic .Well because of job lost my elco been sitting since I bought it.Bought it as it sits now except installed new 350th with 2000stall converter tires and tuned it up,It aint no beast but runs like a champ,will break the tires but with the factory 2.41 it starts off like a cow.Well im gonna stop typin i could go on forever but I been lurkin here for a year and i feel its time to get involved.This the the G-body site hands down and Im gonna need yalls help cause Im ready to get this buil.d started.Check for me in the elco section got some pics to post .peace.Oh' my names D.J. 😀
