F-body rear control arms?

There's no real advantage to using F-body lower control arms, unless they're from a IROC Camaro with higher durometer 1LE bushings. You can purchase the bushings from the dealer, or replace with urethane bushings.
I'm actually using those bushings with boxed lower control arms.
The part #'s for the 1LE bushings are: 10164152

Like longroof said, they are the same arm.

On the bushing deal , if you were to find a set from a 1le the bushings would most likely be beat anyway.

Also , not 100% , but I think the bushing is no longer availible.

I know standard fbdoy arm had a bushing with 3 holes in it and the 1le was solid.

I am thinking maybe the 1le got the Gbody bushing, pure swag here?

Shotgun,
I couldn't agree with you more. Should you find a set of 1LE control arms, the bushings would more than likely be shot.
As for the availability from the dealer, I wouldn't doubt that they're NLA. I bought the bushings back in '02. Many things have become NLA since then. 🙁

So poly bushings in a stock arm will be the same benefit as the 1LE's?
How much will it help the side to side movement i get on the hiway?
Im running 225/55/16's and the hiways are pretty rutted around here so i know that has alot to do with it.

The urethane or poly bushing would be slightly firmer than the rubber 1LE bushing. The 1LE bushing is a compromise between stock soft rubber and the poly. Depending on how your car is used. Even replacing with new stock type rubber bushings would be an improvement over old beat bushings. Same applies to body mounts.
As for side to side movement on the highway. A good set of stiffer sway bars(end links and bushings), new front control arm bushings, ball joints, idler arms, center link.. better springs.
Has your front end been rebuilt?

I just did new F-body coils front and rear, upper and lower ball joints, idler arm, quick ratio box, 2" drop spindles.
The center link and tie rods were still tight. I didnt do control arm bushings. The side to side is more noticable in the rear now. I know the wider tires on crappy roads are contributing to it but i think it should be better than it is. My other g-bodies havent been quite this bad.

Are you using a rear sway bar? That would help you with side to side movement...and also a beefier front sway bar.
