How hard would it be to put this cars rear end into my 87 Cutlass? Wants $200 for the complete 3.23 posi rear axle assembly.

Its too wide, and uses a torque strut, so it has no provisions for upper control arm mounting. What you can do is get a pair of 28 spline axles for a g body and pull the torsen diff and ring and pinion and put them in your g body housing. I have done this with a buddies car.

Could I use the 3.23 28 spline posi on a 7.5 28 spline conversion and get new 28 spline Moser axles and use the rear disc setup on my 7.5 Gbody axle housing? If so that seems like a good deal for a posi unit and rear disc brakes. The car had low miles and was wrecked in the front.

You can use the rear brakes, I did on my car. Requires some cutting and drilling, and a minimum of 16 inch wheels to clear the calipers, but it is a worthwhile swap.

They might, I have read where some say you can grind the cooling fins off the caliper and it will work with a 15 inch wheel, but i am not into grinding too much on brake parts. I like for my cars to go when I step on the gas, but I LOVE for them to stop when I step on the brake!
