As long as you have the proper floor mounts for bucket seats, and the correct G body bucket seat tracks, as pagrunt has pointed out, then the Camaro bucket seats should work fine. I swapped seats in my '84 Monte last winter. In the process of figuring out exactly which seats that I wanted to use, I tried bucket seats from an '84 Buick GN, my original '84 Monte bucket seats, a bucket seat from an '89 Firebird GTA, a '96-'98 Grand Am bucket seat (the ones that I eventually decided to use BTW), and one of the front bucket seats from my 2004 Cavalier DD, and all of these different bucket seats bolted directly to my Monte bucket seat track, with no modifications whatsoever. The trick here is to use bucket seats with the correct bucket seat track. As nearly as I can tell, GM did not change the seat track bolt mounting pattern on most of their bucket seats for at least 30 years. There probably are some exceptions to this, but I don't think that there are too many though.
