the high speed works when i bypass the fan switch, but i checked the fan switch and it is fine. i think it is the connection. the connection from the fuse box where it plugs in behind the dash was corroded and partially melted.

There is a 7 mm bolt in the center of the two harnesses in the engine compartment. If you remove that bolt you can remove the harnesses from the back of the fuse block to see what condition the connectors are in and do any repairs necessary.
the problem was the plug in from the fuse box . it is brown and it is corroded or it was until i cut the ends off and put new ones on now about the other brown wire.
