Worst thing I had happen at a NJ junkyard was being boxed in by another customer.

$2 is high for junkyard admission. The U Pulls around me are free to $1 admission and out in the country. Though the free admission one is a muddy death trap with cars piled up on top of each other up to 3 high. Still neat cars but did not know parts of Dallas were that bad.
wrench n go (u pull it type place) near me charges 3 bucks. per person. Only reason I go there is to wander around or to buy cassette radios.

I would, but I'm afraid they steal the wheels off the car I drove over there while waiting in line to buy those wheels.

That sounds like a personal problem. 😉

In one way you guys in the south are blessed...your pick n pulls have some halfway interesting cars in them...neither of those cars would be in a yard near chicago, or anywhere else up in the rust belt...mylocal yard has the haul away contract with the city of chicago for the abandoned cars...and there are hundreds...haven't gone in two years because its all fwd econo boxes...saw four gm b bodies the last trip...all four door boats...stripped clean...and one 1966 cutlass two door ht, rusted and busted...was nothing on it I would take for free...two weeks later the main shell and bare frame was all that was left...I wouldn't have even gone back except my cousin needed some import stuff...even for stuff that is a common failure part, like 2000 to 2005 century dash clusters, or ford 2.3 liter feedback carbs a few years back...you'd have to make four trips and search hundreds of wrecks only to find a rebuilder had stripped the cars before they hit the yard...
