I can't decide either.

I like the early Malibus with 2 big headlights.
I like the Monte Carlo SS, and non SS too.
Big fan of the El Camino, either front just not the Choo-Choo.
Regals looked neat the whole time.
I like the Olds too. I always wanted an Supreme with the 4 smaller headlights (not '87-88).
Pontiacs had their good points too.

And this is why I have three vehicles.

I pick 84 because my favorite is the Monte SS of that year. But really I shouldnt pick one, because some of G bodies like me in different years, for example I love the Malibus too. My favorites are the 80 and 81 Malibu because its look gove them an expensive and sports car view in all sides and the Landau roof contributes to it (I've one). I confess I dont like much the tailights of the 78 Malibu, the pre 81 Monte fenders and nose neither.

ya it definitly looks better when the front grill had the slope rather than the 87 grill

Depends on the model. I picked 85 because I like a lot of stuff about mine, I like the 85 grilles, the frame has the provision for an overdrive trans, better cruise control, nice interior, easy parts availability. I also love the Malibu coupes of 78-80, any Monte SS, 86 and later Turbo Regals ( especially the really low trim base models that are super rare!) and the Monte LS. Why were 87 and 88 not listed in the choices? I think the last years have the nicest header panels and headlights on the Cutlass and Monte Carlo Luxury Sport.

78 monte and cutlass are my favorite years for those.
Like any of the malibus
Like the 84 regals and later.
Im partial to the GPs they look good if they are done right, but sometimes they can be downright ugly.
