Today was a good day. Got most of the rust off the headlight buckets they just need to be sanded and painted. I got my header fixed so I just have to sand it tomorrow and put it back on for primer.i took off the side mirrors and side molding that was on the passenger side ,took the headliner back out. I also repaired the only dent I had which was on the back driver side door. I sanded 3/4 of the wagon .I'll do the passenger side and tailgate tomorrow. Then mask everything off for primer and paint.

More work the hard part is finally completed now the fun stuff. All rust holes were repaired. All doors removed.
Door jams cleaned and primed. Body baby bottom smooth. Now time for first base coat.

Today I was supposed to just paint door jambs. And ended up painting the whole car. Only 3 coats of Artic White

Is that red stuff the old lacquer based spot putty? The brand I recall is Nitro-Stan. That stuff is not the best product to use. It would tend to shrink and crack over time.

Today I got the Blue Pearl and the White Metallic Flakes on Felix. I used an intercoat clear so there's no lust to it and you can't see the blue pearl nor the white flakes. Now I'm waiting on the Metallic Black to come in so that I can lay the graphics down then spray the final luster clear coat.
